The Lords of Alchemy
Zen Storm:
Zen Storm is a sixteen year old young man who is coming of age and must face the choice of what trade to follow. His family hopes that he will choose to join them as blacksmith but Zen feels a desire to join the garrison at Maltar in order to help protect his nation of Morian. While visiting the recruiting station at Maltar, Zen finds himself swept up in an age old battle that is destined to encompass the entire world of Iora.
Zen is tall and strong from his work in the family forge. He has long raven hair that flows several inches past his shoulders. One of his most distinguishing features is his abnormally large hands. Zen is quick of mind, teachable and yet struggles with the confidence to lead a group that swells in size as his nation and then entire world erupts in war. Zen is truly a natural born leader but there is always a nagging voice in the back of his mind that asks, am I enough?

Dela Rae:
Orphaned at the age of seven, Dela was raised on the streets of the dead city of Aeternam by her tough street wise brother Zeb. Together they plan to rid the streets of the mercenaries that plaque their crumbling city. When Zeb is brought back dead with no explanation, Dela determines to fulfill their dream. One set back after another however seems to plaque Dela and she begins to despair of ever fulfilling her and Zeb’s dreams. Then a young man named Zen Storm shows up and together they begin to form a movement that will not only rid her city of the dreaded mercenaries but have the ability to save their entire world. Perhaps I can fulfill our dream after all Zeb, is the silent hope that beats in Dela’s heart.
Dela is short but strong and agile. She is the best warrior of all the Lords of Alchemy and is loved and respected by all that know her. She has light olive skin and red hair cropped at the chin and flaring out from her face. Her eyes are a deep blue like the calm still water of a lake. Dela falls in love with Zen and becomes his anchor and he hers as they seek to gather the remaining Alchemist Lords to destroy the Shrake warlords that rule their world.

Rolinque:
Many believe them to be myths told at night around camp fires to scare those who are gullible enough to believe - but the Shrake warlord Rolinque is no myth. Rolinque is a brutal killer who delights in the pain and suffering of others. The Shrake warlords who rule Iora are ancient warriors who's speed, agility, tactics and ruthlessness know no bound. Once The Lords of Alchemy stood to protect the people against such ruthless tyrants but the Shrakes destroyed them and their descendents hundreds of years ago. Rolinque has heard rumors and began to see signs that suggest their old adversary may have returned. A determined Rolinque seeks to destroy them ones and for all.
Like all Shrakes, Rolinque is strong quick and agile. His face has an ageless quality and his eyes shine like polished silver - a side effect of the genetic enhancement drugs that he takes to prolong his life and give him superhuman speed and ability. Rolinque has long blond hair that flows past his shoulders and is tied back with a red bandana. He wears no shirt and has two kantanas that are strapped over his right and left shoulders. Black silk pants finish his garb. All Shrake warlords have the same ageless face, silver eyes, and garb. To see one is to have seen all - to have confronted one and survived is a miracle.

Navar Adair:
Navar Adair lives in the shadows of the Thalan Mountains; a rugged, ravaged land, which is sparsely inhabited. Beloved and respected by his people and his friends, Navar’s life is about to change dramatically. He is marrying his lifelong friend, Jalaire LePrey, and being accepted as the newest council member for his tribe, The People of the Claw. However this is only the beginning of the changes that are in store for Navar Adair. Navar discovers that he is an heir of the ancient order of The Lords of Alchemy. In this order lays either the destruction or salvation of his tribe, The People of the Claw.
Navar is short, thick of limb, and barrel chested. A bearded face and curly black hair make for a man who looks like he was born to tame the ravaged land he lives in. Navar has always met his problems head on and is used to overcoming any obstacle in his way. But when his existence is discovered by the Shrake warlord Logan Toran Navar finds himself pitted against a force he cannot overcome. Will help arrive in time and can Navar humble himself and accept that alone he is not enough.

Tubrath:
Tubrath is a haunted empty man. For years he has sought vengeance for the brutal death of his wife and children at the hands of the Shrake warlord Rolinque. After years of hatred and unaccomplished vengeance he finds himself, empty, lost and moving from place to place as a Wilderon cat fighter in the arenas of Iora. When Tubrath meets Zen Storm he recognizes in him something of what he once was and had lost. He commits to help Zen in his cause and becomes his friend and protector. Perhaps now he can put aside the demons that haunt his soul as he fights in a cause more worthy then revenge. But can Tubrath protect Zen and Dela from the dangers that lie ahead or will they suffer the same fate as his family did before?
Tubrath is a bronzed skinned warrior from the Mammoth Gorge country. His head is completely shorn and he is tall and swift. When he moves it is with the grace of the mighty Wilderon cats which he has learned to fight in the arenas of the world of Iora. Tubrath is stern of face and countenance. He hardly ever smiles and talks little - yet his loyalty runs deep.
